The act of burning incense has been an important ritual since ancient times. Incense has a long history of being used in conjunction with ceremonies, rituals, and spiritual and religious occasions.
Incense burning was discovered in India and Southern Asia as early as 3300 BC. Used alongside worship and prayer, it was believed that burning incense could ward off evil spirits while purifying the surroundings.
The spiritual purposes of burning incense can vary based on the religious ceremony or intention during its use and has been more recently adopted by a growing community of energy-aware people
Today, burning incense is synonymous with the practices of several diverse religions but its use goes beyond the spiritual, as it is now commonly used in yoga studios, wellness offices, and our own homes.
Gia Phuoc has chosen to develop scents based on their physiological impacts, which can then be used to aid in meditation and mood enhancement.
Giaphuoc’s principle activities are to manufacture and market an extensive array of incense, candle, fragrances and raw materials for producing incense. We market in two segments:
The first segment: includes incense and raw materials used to make incense. There is variety of incense items: Raw Incense and Perfumed Incense in different sizes and shapes (incense sticks, Incense cones, backflow) while there are two types of raw incenses. One is machine made incense and handmade incense. Scented Incense are made from natural aromatic materials, with customized design and essential oils. Raw materials we have been producing: joss powder and bamboo sticks.
The second segment: scented candle and essential oils and fragrances. The addition of fragrance to a candle formulation is a common practice in the world. In fact, an estimated 80-85% percent of candles sold. are scented. We work closely with our fragrance supplier in USA to develop scented formulations that are not only pleasing, but will burn safely and properly.
The aroma from a lighted scented candle is released through the evaporation of the fragrance from the hot wax pool and from the solid candle itself. Like unscented candles, properly-formulated scented candles will primarily produce water vapor and carbon dioxide when burned. The only difference is that a fragrance is also released with a scented candle.
Most scented candles contain a combination of natural and chemical fragrances These fragrance materials may be derived from essential oils or from aroma chemicals. A well-made candle will contain only fragrance materials approved for candle use with many safety certificates.
We have been selecting from more than 2,000 aroma chemicals and essential oils to develop scents that are both pleasing to consumers and compatible with candle use. These fragrance materials are safe, high-quality ingredients that are also found in many perfumes, bath soaps, lotions and shampoos.
